I used Orion for a number of years on an old Windows ME laptop and made many (mostly unfinished) tracks.I recently got a new laptop and have revived Orion to complete an old track (which got released) - the latest version I had from the Service area was Orion 7.5.
I've been also looking at some older tracks - however a number of them I have hang or crash Orion 7.5 when I load them. The main issue seems to be Tomcat - if I remove or mute the Tomcat channels then the rest of the track will normally play. This is not true of all tracks with Tomcat in them - some load and play just fine.
Is there anything I can do to correct this when I hit this problem?
Many thanks for any tips.

Re: Orion Tomcat issues with old .sfs filesI should add that the problem I see is that the Tomcat channel (and the master) will go into the red when I hit play and I get some very nasty sounds - the sounds then cuts out and Orion will hang - or sometimes I can click stop and get back to the track.
Re: Orion Tomcat issues with old .sfs filesDo you have any old Fx on the tomcat channel ? If so, disable or remove them and see what happens.
Re: Orion Tomcat issues with old .sfs filesYou mean inserts or sends? Or both? I'll give it a whirl. Thanks!
