Dune 3.6 Preset Browser [solved]

Postby GaryMust44 » Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:21 pm

Just bought the new 3.6 version and i'm finding that entering or exiting the browser can take 2 to 3 seconds.
which makes it feel like "have i pressed it??"

Any ideas??

I just tried it on this system in two different DAWs and the Browser opens and closes almost instantly (it closes faster than it opens as one would expect).

This is an old third gen i5 with onboard intel graphics so that's a pretty low bar. I'll try on my studio system tomorrow but I have not noticed a lag of two or three seconds in opening the browser.

I'm on Windows 10 and I work with the Large GUI at 1920x1080.

So my PC is WIN10 with I7 2700K at 4.2ghz with a Geforce 660 GTX and 32GB 1600mhz RAM so it's older yes but still not a slouch. Also using Studio One 6.5 DAW.

Could you please send your "Soundbanks" folder to us (mail sent via PM)? Will take a look at it's content.

Solved by clean up the Soundbanks folder (a lot of unnecessary duplicated subfolders).
