Firstly I had installed XP Pro with SP3 and then also I've tried with SP2, but that was without any difference.

I'm going to try SP3, hopefully this will update some buggy drivers.

What is the difference between the non-sse version and the sse?

Does Orion 7.603 run as 64-bit or am I going to need buy a new version to use with Vista?

You don't need the non-SSE version with your specs and Orion 7.603 is 32-bit. Orion64 is the 64-bit version for which you need a 64-bit OS, which you don't have.

Have you tried un-installing Orion, clearing any registry entries for Orion and then re-installing?

I don't think that SP3 will help - but believe me, I hopes so!

Difference in NON-SSE and SSE versions is only that SSE version handles specific Processor's operations and NON-SSE not.

Are You running 64 bit XP now? Can You install 64bit operating system (eg. Vista) on Your computer? I think NOT. This processor is only 32 bit. Core 2 Duo is not same as 64bit processor.

For sure, You dont have to. Registries have nothing to say about that crash.

Sorry, that was aimed at Kat. Clearing the registry would remove any rogue settings, wouldn't it?

All Intel Dual Core CPU are 64-bit capable, even the old Pentium-4 with 775 Socket can run 64-bit Windows. If it has EM64T it is 64-bit capable.

That's just plain wrong. Core2's of whatever sort are 64-bit processors.

Yes I know, and Yes, its true. But Orion's registries are too easy that it could make blue screen or crash such as this one. But this problem is more close to blue screen and some driver problem than Orion's itself. Yes, Orion can handles here some specified operation (or not Orion but driver) which makes this crash, but what it could be? For sure, not registry in that case.

What? I have Intel Core 2 Duo and it is not 64bit processor. Kat's processor also is not (check intel's documentation).

Yes, Intel's Core 2 Duo has 64-Architecture, but it is not 64-bit processor, read this:

Have you even tried installing XP64 or Vista64? Core2's are 64-bit processors and should therefore run 64-bit OSes. I've just bought a new laptop that's a Core2Duo and that is 64-bit capable, although I'm running 32-bit Vista on it.

Tell me your CPU model and I will show you that it's a 64bit-capable CPU.
