So this is the problem:
I have a project.
I stream to file separate instruments and apparently ONE of them,
precisely TAL Bassline part
is always streamed without one first note!
It appears the same in 2 projects.
So what to do?
I attach screenshot.

Streaming To File losing notesYou do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: Streaming To File losing notesRename your track from Metal to Heavy Metal. That'll do the trick.
Re: Streaming To File losing notesI just tried it and got the same results. The first note is not in the rendered file. Does this happen with all Tal plugins?
Re: Streaming To File losing notesI just tried it with TAL Elek7ro-II and got the same results. First note not rendered. Looks like the TAL plugins don't work well with Orion. On a side note I'm having odd problems with Synthmaster 2 in Orion...........
Re: Streaming To File losing notesI've had this problem in the past as well. Probably not much help other than confirming it happens, as I either sorted the issue out, or upgrading to the latest version has solved the problem. But yes it was a real pain when it did occur.
Perhaps try adding an extra bar at the beginning of the song with one note that can get missed / not played. Not a solution, just a workaround.
Re: Streaming To File losing notesJust as a workaround to get your track finished - have you tired soloing the track, streaming it and then loading it into a sampler?
If streaming it by itself still has the missing note at the beginning, try using something like Voxengo Recorder (free) - you can insert it into the track as a vst fx, browse to the folder you want to save to, then click the 'start' button and play the pattern - Recorder will capture the ouput to disk. Then you can edit the file and load it into a sampler in Orion, and try streaming the whole track again.
Re: Streaming To File losing notesOr...
He could switch to song mode, put a pattern on 2nd bar (or anywhere but bar 1), set loop range to be on empty bar in front + pattern, stream that as song, and then just edit the file, cut it in half leaving just the second part. Easier than dribbling with a recorder SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Streaming To File losing notesOr just find a plugin that doesn't cause problems..there are plenty of free ones and I have to think that although the TAL plugins are great they could be replaced quite easily.
Perhaps mention this issue at Togu Audio Line and see how they respond......maybe they could work with Rich to find a solution. Here's the contact info for TAL......... Patrick Kunz: pkstar[at]gmx[dot]ch "Please report feedbacks, bugs and issues in the comment section at the bottom of the product pages. You can also send me a mail with detailed information about the issue and your system configuration." Last edited by Teksonik on Thu Nov 10, 2011 1:29 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Streaming To File losing notes
With TAL plugins or others? I just tried it with TAL Uno 60 and same result. Missing first note on Render..........
Re: Streaming To File losing notesNot with TAL plugins, could have been Reaktor or Albino, but can't remember exactly.
Re: Streaming To File losing notesWell if it's happening with plugins from multiple developers it might be Orion's fault..........
I just tried the same experiment in Reaper and TAL Bassline rendered perfectly........no missing first note....... Just tried TAL Uno 60 in FL Studio and it rendered perfectly........ Uno 60 just rendered perfectly in Sonar X-1 Uno 60 just failed to render properly again in Orion both with "Entire Song to a Single File" and "All Instruments to Separate Files" Maybe Rich or Marcin could look into the issue.......
Re: Streaming To File losing notesPlease contact with me by PM. I need sfs and detailed info about plugins used. Cheers!
Re: Streaming To File losing noteshe told you what it was, TAL Bassline
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-bassline tho he didnt say if it was 32 or 64bit Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
250GB SSD - 1TB HDD | M-Audio Oxygen 25 V
Re: Streaming To File losing notesI checked through my old posts, I was having the problem with Massive.
Not used to recently so can't say if it's still a problem. Will try it over the weekend if I remember and post if it's still occuring.
Re: Streaming To File losing notes
I like dribbling with Recorder! Set a loop going, insert some crazy multi-fx and tweak for 10 minutes, recording output, then go back and cut out the best bits.
