Well it's 3:30 in the morning here...not much else to do at this hour so I've given it another go. I still can't get any stuck notes. I abused the heck out of the qwerty board playing as many notes as fast as possible using several different patches but still no stuck notes. I did notice that when changing patches the keyboard will lose focus and you have to click on the channel to get it working again. But even if I hold notes and change patches I don't get any hung notes........
Out of curiosity do you get the same thing when using the qwerty board in Orion (not sure if you own Orion).
Anyway Mark take the day off (I've got to work no rest for the wicked). Everybody have a great Christmas day.......
Yes unfortunately the Casinos here in Vegas never close and thousands of us will be working today just like it was any other day. At least I get double time pay........
i just played around with Dune again, it seems if you hold short a note and then let it go to keep some time distance between pressing another note it seems to work, but if you slide from more notes or play more at the same moment it hangs very shortly and a note is being held without holding it anymore :/
and sometimes if i push some notes in order with a short pause not simultaneously a note isnt played.
Have you tried enabling "Align ticks" in the audio settings of FL 10? This should make the FL engine somewhat more compatible with how Cubase works.
Btw the PC keyboard handling happens on the host side, as far as playing notes is concerned. Better is to test using sequenced notes, or via MIDI keyboard.

i will ask in the IL forums again, but this seems to be bad programming doesnt it? when only Dune has this issue now, not judging the quality of it.

Ok I've managed to get some hung notes if I have "Don't Allow Keyboard Focus" selected in the Fruity Wrapper and the Mouse Cursor in placed somewhere over Dune's Gui. If don't allow keyboard focus is not selected placing the mouse cursor over Dune's gui will cause the qwerty board to stop triggering notes.
I just tested Albino 3 and Z3ta+2 and with allow keyboard focus unselected placing the cursor over their GUI does not cause the qwerty board to stop triggering notes.
I remember having an issue in an older version of Dune when the mouse cursor was over the gui:
"In Sonar and FL if the Dialog box is open and the mouse cursor touches DUNE's GUI the box will close.'
That issue has long since been fixed in an update of Dune and I don't know if the issues are related but thought I would bring it up just in case..........
Just tried the virtual keyboard in Orion and the qwerty board does not stop triggering notes when the cursor is over the gui........

i tested that at the beginning too, it hangs still also i can always be on the gui play the keyboard at the same time and turn on knobs on other plugs, thats the whole idea isnt it? i just tested it again, hangs up asap........... i dunno anymore, what infos shall i provide? on the Dune gui it shows also which not is pressed when it hangs up and the note keeps playing and playing and playing.... and i have to push stop 2x times again. but this isnt a solution to play and change the knobs 10 secs, push 2 times stop etc.
Ok I can get hung notes 100% of the time if I hold a key on the qwerty board and move the mouse cursor over Dune's gui with "Don't Allow Keyboard Focus" unselected.........
This does not occur with the other plugins I've tried this time....Albino, Ultra Analog, and Rapture........
However this issue does not occur when using the virtual keyboard in Orion. This might be one of those instances where it's really neither the Plugin's fault or the Host's fault.........it's just that the two don't play well together.....
I know it's not what you want to hear but having a good Midi Controller is a God send....even if you don't play keyboard it's a great tool to have for step sequencing, parameter controls etc.........
Man I feel for you...I know you've been told here to try the Fruity forums and been told at the Fruity forums to try here....must be frustrating. Wish I could help......
guess it's not many people complaining about this prob so synapse doesnt care, too bad but leaves a foul taste. good that there are other companies with product alternatives .
