Rack Extensions are virtualized - this is one of the brilliant aspects of this standard. The version we give to Propellerheads does not even contain any Windows-executable code, it is generic code they convert to whatever target platform they wish.
So it is impossible for a rack extension to contain a virus when we deploy it. It could be infected on the PH server (unlikely), or the final DLL could simply catch an already existing local virus after download. The most likely explanation is an error in the scanner, though.
