8.6 all happy
The title Splat, comes from the old school apple macintosh world, like a control alt delete in the pc world. After a splat there are those moments where the apple ROM loads, like BIOS loading on a pc. Depending on the reliability of your vintage mac, the machine may boot, or not. This track is inspired by those indeterminable moments between a smiley happy mac and an undoubtable question mark.

Re: splat trackGood sound ! Very new and pleasant to my ears. Would you call this "drone music" ?
What are the VST you used to get this nice sound ?
Re: splat track@ Dmassive ~ sometimes strange is good.
@ appo ~ thanks for your comments, basic song structure is listed below. I have described my music before as Space Cowboy, an easier term is probably electro. "In the same way that Brian Eno created albums inspired by context of place, FTR delivers music for interstellar journeys. Producing galactic sounds, that would satisfy any solar surfing, planet hopping, space cowboy." * Denotes instruments and effects built into Orion ** Denotes product made by Synapse Audio Instruments Drumatic 3 (via Bus #1) Hydra (via Bus #1) ** Drum Rack - 808 Set 3 (via Bus #1) * - PSP N2O - Reflex Free Drum Rack - CR78 Set 2 (via Bus #1) * Drum Rack - CR78 Set 2 (via Bus #1) * - Filter Delay * - Diffuse Delay * Dune 2 (via Bus #2) ** - 2 Tap Delay * Plucked String - Acoustic Guitar (via Bus #3) * Drum Rack - 808 Set 1 (via Bus #1) * Kamiooka (via Bus #4) Wasp (via Bus #4) * - Glitch 2 Wasp (via Bus #4) * - Glitch 2 - Compressor CV-82 * - Diffuse Delay * Dune 2 (via Bus #2) ** - Chorus/Flanger * - Tremelo * Toxic (via Bus #4) * - Diffuse Delay * Dune 2 (via Bus #2) ** - Diffuse Delay * - Camel Phat 3 - Diffuse Delay * Dune 2 (via Bus #8) ** - PSP N2O - Camel Phat 3 - Reflex Free Bus Bus #1 - Compressor CV-82 * Bus #2 Bus #3 Bus #4 Bus #8 - Reflex Free - PSP N2O - Diffuse Delay * Master Out - Saturation * - PSP N2O - Glitch 2 - Platinum Limiter * You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. ________________________________
