Gili Gili

Gili Gili was made during the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse following the Total Solar Eclipse in March. By then I was hanging out in the very groovy Gili Islands in Indonesia.

Strange music. About the playlist, perhaps you need to use colors to make it easy to read. ;)

Of course you can do what ever you want. But most people didn't know the "power" of colors. It's a good practice to use them. ;)

Hi folks,
@d strange indeed.

I have used instrument colour coding before in the playlist,
but depending on the track I have a pretty good idea what channels sounds are coming from,
particularly because of the unique sounds I enjoy making (although multiple drums can be hard).
One of the things I do though is to rename any duplicate instruments with a number as well.
That way in the title of the instrument window I know which generator I am working with.
On almost every song I insert a new track called Track Packer and colour it red.
I use the Track Packer to mark even bars in the track in the play list window,
eg 16,32,64 (8Bar long A1 pattern)
and where I have any hicups in the track or sections I know I need to work on,
I will insert an A2 pattern to the Playlist, with 16Bars or as long as the section
I want to work on and improve.
