Magix is giving away a free version of it's Music Maker software. I installed it on this computer just for fun. It's better than I expected but then I didn't expect much.......

EDIT: The free version doesn't support VST plugins so unless you're bored you might want to skip it. This is obviously a taster designed to get you to buy more feature rich versions but if someone finds it an alternative to Orion it might be worth upgrading.
