Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!Hi well firstly I must apologise for the delay in getting to 'road test' the hard work and effort that you put in for me, but finally just got round to downloading the file...
Might be being a bit of a numpty here... but what Orion generator should I be loading the file into????
Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!yeah, been a while, even i had to think about it
Dune 2 (you said you had that) Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
250GB SSD - 1TB HDD | M-Audio Oxygen 25 V
Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!Ive opened Dune 2 and tried to load the file by clicking on the 'folder' icon and navigating to the 'patch' but it does no seem to recognise it as when the folder opens there is no file to choose...am I doing something fundamentally wrong?
Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!All the existing files within the Dune 2 folders seems to have different file extensions...the one you have created has an SFS extension...
Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!ah ok, thats an Orion song file
open Orion, load that song file Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM

Re: TRANCE BASS SOUND DESIGNER WANTED!The sound is GREEEAAATTTTT thanks!!!!
SO that kind of demonstrates your abilities with Orion/Synths ETC.... so ~I'm going to stick my neck out and ask another... Orion Generators TOXIC3 has a sound I use ALOT 'SEQ trancestuff' - With this sound I have a need to use it as a single one hit type sound similar to a bass sample like you created for me.... but I notice that say if you play one not repeatedly like a 'bass line' the 'sound' seems to have a kind of 'sweep' which moves the sound in and out of being useful... again I've played around with some of the controls in an attempt to remove it but I have not been successful - Something in your repertoire????
