This was posted in the PRS editor thread, but I figured not everyone might be reading that thread so I'm reposting here. I've made a constrained randomiser for making presets. The first attempt is at WASP-V. This is what was posted in the other thread:
Here they are - randomised presets for Wasp-V:

There are some duds in there and the levels haven't been normalised, though they were constrained by the randomiser. Osc coarse and fine, envelope attacks, decays, and releases were also constrained to certain extents. The second pack of presets removed noise waveforms from the choices where appropriate. The names for each preset are also randomised (random choices from the Mathematica dictionary), so even if you think the presets are rubbish, you'll learn some new words

I'll be tackling WaveFusion tonight and hopefully Ultran tomorrow. Please let me know your thoughts

New WASP-V presetswow :klatsch:
if you release it as an aplication, will reduce my sound researching drastically. (I'm a fan of the randomize parameters function) I'll try your presets when I have some time.
New WASP-V presetsJavier, tt will be some time before I can release as an application unfortunately. In the meantime I'm happy to make a set of presets according to any constraints you might want or type of sound e.g., basses, leads or pads etc and mail them to you.
New WASP-V presetsDon't worry, I don't have much time these days to spare making music. But I'm always interested in this kind of low-tec and smart hacks that power creativity.
Thanks for the offer, I'll be checking your presets first.
