looking for good Droneultran?
to me a drone would sound something like this http://synthman-prophecies.com/audio/alienDrone.wav your version sounds more like a sweep. i think ultran can produce more interesting stuff. but hey if thats what they call a drone then it sucks.
looking for good DroneI was thinking something like a didgeridoo, or like the drone on bagpipes, or drone on sitar. that whoosh noise sweep thing certainly wouldn't've come to mind.
anyway, the noisey whoosh sweep sound that you gave reminds me of Majken's Chimera, might try playing with that one a bit.
looking for good Dronethats not a drone...and you can do that with any synth that has a noise osc and ADSR, run it thru a reverb and its done... Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM

looking for good Droneor, try PaDrone...one of my early creations that looks crap, prob uses lots of CPU, but may be of use....never use it myself

Beyond that, Ultran, Wasp, Wavedream, Toxic II and III, Scorpion and Hydra will all produce great pads/drones. Phreque.com - Weapons-Grade Awesome.
looking for good DroneYeah, actually, I call this a swift or whoosh. But somehow, many people call this a drone. Whatever. It's the demo sound what I mean.
Did an improved version last night. Am ok with it. Not totally great but it fits to the song.
looking for good Dronehttp://www.breathcube.com/vst/vst.html grab the one called whoosh.
Also it gonna teach you the theory behind drones and using creative lfo filters which gonna help you program deeper synths in the future Last edited by Vicious_Angel on Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.

looking for good Dronecool Vicious. Will give it a try tonight. Also saw a Clap of Luxury. Sounds promising. All my claps sound somehow flat. Would like to get a fat ass gosple choir clap sound.
looking for good DroneIf you are speaking for a funky type gospel-clap?
Just hear my tip. Tick of snap to grid and layer different type of claps slightly out of time Emu1212m | Alesis micron | Edirol pcr500 | FOCAL CMS 50 | Senheiser hd 25-1 II | Core i7 etc

I would call it a woosh too. I have one if you get stuck, which is a wav sample, basically of white noise, you can then create the effect opening up the cut off filter, increasing volume and adding lots of reverb.
looking for good Dronethx folks for the help. Am ok with the whoosh now. CPU rate causes some more trouble though. Getting bad cracks @70% and higher. QuadCore already arrived. Hope I find the time to get that thing into my machine as soon as possible.
