Snake Charmer- bass kick sounds cheap. you need something that goes doof-doof with more low end
-try to eq those hi metallic timber like sounds -the transition at 0:55 is not correct, try to make some progression from the prev cool tune - the bassline is weak, it needs more presence. -i like the goa melodies in it. your using #keys + regular keys for melody for the goa melodies (odd+ even) in general some more effort is required comrade
Snake CharmerI really like the percussion in the background. For me personally - I'm so sick of the 909 sound. But I like your kick at least. (Those umistakable hats are doing me in though. )
No offence - but I wouldn't say this is a 'club thumper' at all. BUT - with the mix and arrangement you've got, I'd say it'd be perfect for TV. (ad's, Dr. Who added background soundtrack, chat show intros, etc.) Club stuff I've learned is you got to follow the masters with slight variation, or - completely F up the scene with opposites (my bag ) This is just too safe either way. Nice though.
Snake Charmerthe other steven is kinda right, it sits midway between hardcore minimal techno, and full blown floorkiller.
its a good track, some cool sounds in there (whole mix is way too quiet tho) i liked it, and would prob prefer it if it went on the more minimal track, ala Dave Clark, as you have some nice perc stuff going on... Windows 11 Home - 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400 2.50 GHz -32GB RAM
