Wasp video on You TubeWasp has a very distinctive sound doesn't it? Need to get it to be the ' in thing' on the dance floor then we will all be laughing. Good vid
Wasp video on You TubeGreat video! It inspired me to load up Wasp for the first time in a while and Kriminal's new FXknobs inspired me to load up a few of Orion's FX and make a Wasp template.
I've got a controller knob on my Trigger Finger assigned to Filter Cutoff. Great fun just to let a sequence play and sweep through the Cutoff. http://teksonik.googlepages.com/Wasp-OrionFX.sfs
Wasp video on You Tubeyou add extra fx after the 2 filters right ?
(sounds awesome) Orion 8, Live 8Le, Cubase 4 LE, Cantana, APC40, UC16, Fostex PM1MKII, Q9550, 4G0, 1,5T, 22"+15"

Wasp video on You Tubehi guys i am glad you liked the demo i think we also sometimes take our native synths for granted. so its a good way to let ppl know what our orion synths are also capable of!
And you know the the sad thing is at image line its priced only as $30, so ppl get the idea "oh its only $30, so it must be some cheap synth" So i think demos like this should make ppl aware what awesome synths we have at our disposal at a mere $99. you wont find such a deal ever!
Wasp video on You Tubethere are 2 sends=> reverb(arts acoustic vst) + orion delay and there are 2 inserts => Variable filter and G-Sonique Pultronic vintage filter. FYI that Pultronic filter (the one in the background in blue) is no way contributing to the sound. That is, if you remove it you will still get the SAME sound. i made a mistake of not removing it, but i didnt want to go thru the whole video making process, so its just left there.
Wasp video on You Tubethanks richard! Also thanks for this wonderful synth :hut2: Had to do some justice to your creations. it must be quite irritating when people dont realize what a great synth wasp is. you should have a vst for the mk5 version. Also some where down the lane perhaps a porta feature would be nice. Last edited by suneel on Tue Jun 16, 2009 5:32 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Wasp video on You TubeGreat stuff Suneel! Wasp is still and will always be 'the easiest ARP there is' (as in 2600 and Axxe, etc.) The damn things a powerhouse - minus all the patch cords and sliders. However Krim did the D+B bass, that's my main use for Wasp these days and can't complain!
Rich - what about a EXT. Input for Wasp, and a adjustable trigger level? I could finally burn my CS10 synth once and for all then. And you may get used by Stereolab to boot. Apparently they used to run their entire show through a ARP Odessey on the mixing desk. I think the Wasp could do a better job.
Wasp video on You TubeImpressive stuff
