JamStix, anything like it but simpler?

Now these are the drums for me! Just a good ol' smash and bash drum kit (and the sound and feel of this thing is DAMN good!) But I'm not into all this 'pattern crap' on board, and is a pain to route to channels and all. Is there anything as good sounding and simple as JamStix, with half the crap on board? I checked out Bettery, and.... it's okay. Lots of sounds and all. But these JamStix guys definately know the nuances of a drum set.

I'd rather make 100 sounds off ONE good snare, than search 100 sounds to find at least HALF a good one for a song.
