Probably should've put this in 'Mellow', but what the hell. If they still had 'make out music' I'd definately stick it in there....deep!
Climax
Could've done a better blow job though. Give me about 15 minutes to saw off another one.... :superlol:

Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz!Cool !!!
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz! Thanks guys.
Dazoid - funny "peculiar". or funny "ha-ha"? If I could throw my voice to sound like Joe Pesci, I'd give you the "What am I. a freakin' clown here. I'm here to 'amuse you', is that it?" :superlol:
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz! That's a lovely and mellow track Steven. However, sounds to me on my headphones that the low-mids/mids are a bit to much. Bass is to low as are the snare/hats. But still, really nice.
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz! Thanks Mark, Yeah, it's a shame at 128kbs there. It's definately a 'earth mover'. I'm still kinda tweeking it, and will hopefully get it up at 192kbs elsewhere when I happy with it. I heard my stuff live in a club recently, and gotta lower my bass indeed.
But the gals seem to like a shakin honey pot.
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz!Good one! I like the easy smooth atmosphere of the song! What's that airy wide pad on the background, it sounds nice?
Sounds like a potential sound track music to me. Have you ever made music for movie or TV, Steven?
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz! Thanks Baroquerion. TV and movies, yes. Nothing 'big' thus far, but always hoping.
And just to let you kind folks and newcomers know, I have redone and reuploaded the song. On Mark's advice, I sneaked in a poppy little Rickenbacker to slyly tie the low's and high's together. And tried fixing up my sloppy trumpet playing. And for the real Audiophiles, there is a 192kbs version now available HERE Maybe I'm blowing smoke up my keister, but I think 192 definately gives it the space it needs... Really explores the room... But, wiithout the cowbell.
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz!Okay. now this is interesting. The fact I've said 'Nu Jazz' seems to have people here and abroad playing this thing A LOT! Had I gone for 'Mellow' or 'Instrumental Pop' (which I really think it is...) Would it have made a dent on the charts? I know there's a lot of New Age fans here, but really thought they were in the minority. More hardcore techno-dance-electro users. Have the winds changed direction THAT much? Not that I'm going to keep up with Nu Jazz per say, but judging by the stats - it looks like many are looking for something 'new'. That's all I, Malcolm McLaren, and Ivo Watts Russell can ask for.
My thanks to all that tooks a wisten, and hopefully found a pleasant crossover and/or inspiration from it.
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz!Sounding good, Steven! Listening at work and it's plenty smooth and quasi-jazzy. Very good sound variety too; stays fresh throughout and never gets tiresome. Keep them coming!
Phreque.com - Weapons-Grade Awesome.
Nu Shooz? This is Nu Jazz! Thanks a plenty Epi! From what started as a 30sec loop with Concretefx's Kubik and a bass drum, I didn't think could evolve much longer. A friend said he'd like to use it as underlay music, and I though 'I can't just let those two thing drone on for lord knows how long'. So as they say in fashion - it's all about the layering.
