No , I have to admit, I streamed the best VST's then sequenced them in cubase, before running the whole thing through a hardware maximiser. Joking ! All OP LOL Last edited by DEE on Fri Jul 03, 2009 6:01 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Close your Eyes-New Uplifting trance track-PreviewThe way it sounds now, I wouldn't have been surprised.
That's my old school way of doing things (well, maybe not Cubase) but is really amazing what OP can do straight off the board. Nicely done!
Close your Eyes-New Uplifting trance track-Previewyes this one sounds much better, fresher!

Thnx, you know the scary thing is when i compare this mix to my first post, I still prefer the first!!!However, I know the mix is wrong compared to any other similar sounding trancer. I think my ears are definately fubar!
Close your Eyes-New Uplifting trance track-PreviewI know what you mean Dee. I did a song years ago called Technology on my first CD. I wanted it so chaotic and ugly sounding. The engineer had a fit, and said 'I'm not wasting any time on this!' And yet, I love the sound of it over all the stuff we did slave over.
But were the whole CD to sound like that song, I'd hate it. So yes, we all have are fave frequencies. Sometimes you can keep it if the continuity allows. But that first mix of yours.... I wouldn't want to fashion a concept around it! :superlol:
Close your Eyes-New Uplifting trance track-Previewyeah interesting, it happens! best is to make a backup and use it in another song he he the sound lives!
