I figured since I hadn't been here in a while, I would shamelessly promote my music and orion platinum. Check out my youtube page for all my recent tracks along with artwork now in HD and high quality. I don't come here often, so if you like any of the tracks, let me know either at georgel909@yahoo.com or on my youtube page.

Over 20 original Orion Platinum Tracks in High Def with ArtwWow, thanks a lot. I really appreciate the feedback.
Over 20 original Orion Platinum Tracks in High Def with ArtwGeorge my only qustion is did you record those drums live (mic'ed your drum kit) or did you use an electric drum kit? Very original style with drums. I program all my drums and in many songs I have made there very similar to heavy metal but because there programed they dont sound natural. I still think there cool though even though its not very popular to do this. I think the techno world gets really hung up on rules and laws. Also you say that these songs are in HD at what sample rate did you use?

Over 20 original Orion Platinum Tracks in High Def with ArtwI did not record the drums live, as I don't have drums or high quality recording equipment. The drum kits were electronic, but run through some distortion and reverb filters. Believe me, if I had access to recording equipment I would record all kinds of strange noises, clanking metal, breaking solid objects, and all kinds of fun things, but at this point I mainly just use Battery 3, a drum synth with a variety of samples, and whatever orion platinum has in its library. I sequenced all the drums, so they weren't preset loops or anything, but they are electronic, though distorted a bit. As for rules, I mean I used all kinds of things from Arabian tablas to old 80's Roland emulators. Half my stuff doesn't even fit into a genre. Oh, and by HD I just mean the songs were uploaded to youtube in HD, and that they are stereo with higher quality artwork than in the past. They are just 320 kb mp3's at this point with the original WAVs at 44khz and 16 or 32 bit. I hope that answers everything.
