Steven: you'll love the automation tracks, so why not give it a go. You're one of the most experienced Orionauts here. It would be a shame not to get your input at this stage. I reckon you should be able to install into a folder other than your current Orion folder without affecting your current installation. Call it Orion beatch or summink.
DEE: I sent those patterns over to you. Hope you find them useful.
Anybody else who has downloaded Venom VB-303 and would like some patterns then just e-mail me and I'll send you your own exclusive patterns!

New acid/techno track from me'Orion Bee-atch' did I get you right? And wht the heck is 'Summink'? That's a new one to me.
You know how you get comfy in front of the TV, popcorns just right, beverage by your side... And the remotes across the room. That's the way I am with OP8.
New acid/techno track from meSounds a bot too comfy Steven. Summink = something.
Number 1 in the acid chart today. Woo-hoo!

I did thank you, although I am unsure how you made them? I have figured out the sequencer now though, and I love this VST. Great sounds, been working on a little demo track, when I should be finishing a off remix LOL. Will stick it up for you to have a listen. Great find btw. New acid/techno track from meI made them with Mathematica. Each nsm file has a 9 byte header followed by the pattern data and then a 36 byte footer. Each note in the pattern data consists of two bytes. The first is the note value, the second is an attribute, i.e., slide, accent etc. I took four existing patterns and randomly chose a note and attribute at each position (from those four patterns) and repeated to get 120 patterns each mapped to a different note.
BTW, I got your e-mail. Sorry I haven't replied yet. The nsp files that you asked about are the VB-303s individual pattern files. The nsm files are collections of patterns mapped to different notes, i.e., pressing C3 will play one pattern, whilst D3 will play a completely different pattern. I'm going to try to hack the Phoscyon presets to see if I can do something similar there too. Looking forward to hearing your demo track.
New acid/techno track from meI find it too clean... Hmmmm... I feel that there's something missing...
New acid/techno track from meThanks for listening. Let me know when you find what's missing
New acid/techno track from meOk, it starts good... The kick drum is nice coming in as is the synths... Then there's a break at 58 sec and when the beats and synths come together it's an anti-climax in that I was expecting a bit of a surprise...
Hmmm... The breaks keep it interesting... Ah, I think I'm feeling what's missing... I feel that there's dynamic missing from the kick... The acid lines could be more metallic and cutting... The snare could be a bit higher in the mix... The main melody could have done with a bit more to it... I dunno if it helps... Well, it's how I'm feeling it... What do I know?
New acid/techno track from meWhat you know is what you feel and feel is the most important part of music.
New acid/techno track from meI guess I like harder forms of Electronics... Someone suggested that I listen to The Nommos (amongst other bands) and I liked it a lot. I'd like to try and do something similar but certainly not the same. I am looking forward to giving it a go...
New acid/techno track from meYou give it a go - we listen. You keep threatening to produce something, but haven't done so yet. Don't be afraid grasshopper. You'll have noticed by now the majority of comments are constructive.
BTW, The Nommos? Link?
New acid/techno track from meAlso, Robot, I still don't understand what you mean when you say it's too clean. Can you explain a bit more, please?
New acid/techno track from meThe Nommos
Soman I like the music above because they manage to make the music interesting with a few effects thrown in here and there to break up the repetition of the beat. I am looking to get myself a decent system, which should happen next month.
New acid/techno track from meThanks, I'll have a listen now. BTW, I'm sure given that you are using Orion you can throw something our way. It's the only decent system you need! Isn't that right Steven????
New acid/techno track from meThe Nommos I like
