What Software do you Use to Make Sound Fonts?i have a process, i create a sfz with my little utility http://carrieres.free.fr/sfz.htm and translate to sf2 with extreme sample converter http://www.extranslator.com/
Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
What Software do you Use to Make Sound Fonts?Another possibility is to build up your multisamples in Orion save an *.osp from Orion's sampler and convert using Awave Studio, which reads and writes both osp and sf2 (amongst billions of other formats).

What Software do you Use to Make Sound Fonts?Creative Labs 'Vienna' (FREE!) is THE major .SF2 creator. Though there is a similar freeware program called 'Vannie' or close to that that is a much simplified version.
What Software do you Use to Make Sound Fonts?I Used Creative Labs' 'Vienna' for years - it is freely downloadable, but has one major drawback - you can only run it if you have a Creative Labs card installed!
The freeware version which works with any system and is loosely based on Vienna is called 'Viena' - not mispelled, just 1 'n'. I never used it though because i stopped using soundfonts and started using Orion's sample editor before i got rid of my Audigy.
