Are You inspired by Infected Mushroom or Mindfield?
Why this song is so short?
Go do this song more than 7 minutes
This kind of trance is also mine
I think the master is good - You don't need to spend too much time on it. I think You schould spent more time after about 4:30 ... this part is coming a little boring for me. But ... very waiting for new version
What are You using here (synths)?
Holy Ocean - feedback guys? :)Moderators: Christophe, Mark

@ -intro-one- - Well, I've been a huge fan of Infected Mushroom for a long time, and have a few cds from them. I've seen them live 3 times........ I guess you can say that that counts for inspiration. I'm not so excited about their new stuff, but they are still incredible musicians I don't know Mindfield, I'll have to check them out. Yeah, the song is a bit shorter than the usual suspects, but I was focussing less on things like that, and a bit more on the actual sound quality, and getting a track finished that I'm actually somewhat happy with. My general tastes in trance music have changed a bit over the years, and I prefer the styles from labels like Parvati, M.O.E., Vertigo, etc.. However, trying to get that kind of sound has been very difficult for me. So, I tried to focus on just getting a decent sound out of my tools, instead of imitating or trying to get a particular sound to happen. If that makes sense. Here's what I used: Bass - Alien 303 (love this vst!!) Leads - Albino 3 layered with toxic 3 Blue Alien 303 Toxic 3 Pads, fx, etc. - Gladiator Wasp Sampletank2 SE Drumrack loaded with noisey fx Edit: Oh, and all the percussion sounds are samples loaded into Drumrack Last edited by Icaro on Tue Jul 21, 2009 9:46 am, edited 1 time in total.
