Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoOk... What is the nature of the darkness?
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoHmmm... There is strength in darkness because sperm perishes faster in the light.
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoIf you want to be philosophical about it, there is more power in the darker emotions.
It is far easier to create something potent out of hate, or fear, or anger, or a sense of despair, than it is out of love or joy, which normally ends up sounding twee. Which is why most great music tends to be from this melancholy perspective. Speaking from an occult perspective the darker more sinister sides of the occult seem to have more potency, in terms of imagry and general emotional effect. And to be really abstract about it, before the light there was darkness. The Void, or the Tao, and from this darkness, the universe was born. It is also possible that so called dark matter, is the cause of the accelerated expansion of the universe, that defies more classical predictions of the fate of the universe. I could go on all day, I`m not sure that sperm factors into it, but I will try to take your (personal) observations of man juice and integrate it into my philosophy somehow.
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoDarkness is eternal and takes no energy to maintain.
Excellent piece with some superb interpretive dance (er, Butoh that is) and good video. Bravo! Last edited by borion on Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:02 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yes indeed, very eloquently put, I think darkness IS an energy, it takes no energy to maintain because it is a source. Haha, I`m not sure this is the right place for this kind of philosophical discussion, maybe lashtal.org, or occultforums.net hehe and thank you for the complement
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoI remember when I ventured into 'gothi'. Man, what a shitstorm! :superlol:
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoAre we talking about "darkness" as human emotional concept? Or something that exists independent of our perception? Cause I don't think it does. The universe is amoral, neither good, evil or neutral, it just is. We humans assign these values. Having said that, I appreciate the power and depth of dark emotions. Although I'm slipping more to the melancholic side as I'm getting older. I don't have the stamina to endure the intensity anymore.
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoWell the root of darkness is absence, of matter, of light, of energy.
So emotionally all the "dark" emotions can be assigned to absence, or a taking away. To be alone, the fear of being alone to be without love or to have love taken away to be without life, to have your life end etc So yes darkness is something that exists independant of perception, as an absence.
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoMad dad in the pad. Heavy riffing to the cool cats on the ultimate side of darkness. Man, I don't know if that's poetry or just squaresville Blues Void-O? You write it like Kerorac with Howling Wolf playing in the background. Crazy baby, cray-ZEE!
Man, I need me some more esspresso and a comfertable setee to comtemplate that mad jam man. Heavy!
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoMan I love the blues.
I was always a John Lee Hooker fan myself. Yeah, sometimes I do need a beret and roll neck black sweater. There`s nothing wrong with pursuing lofty ideals though, even if we can`t reach those higher places, it`s worth jumping up just for the fleeting view.
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoThe dark becomes light.
Brass rings are better than straws. Hold onto beret. Butoh Haiku... :superlol:
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoDarkness emmits light... Black light...
Voidloss - Singularity Promo VideoThe mind is amazing and it's amazing what ideas people attach to certain concepts... Concepts such as darkness...
