Would you buy music from anyone on this forum? Are you a fan of Novakill, Voidloss, Kriminal? Let us know!
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum?Voidloss - I would consider buying music from him, yes.
The other two choices you give...... I respect both of these guys tremendously (even if Bones attitude can piss me off sometimes), but the music is not really my thing. For what it's worth, I bought a cd called Vector Selector by a psytrance artist named Ocelot. It was written on the liner notes of the cd, that the entire album was produced in Orion. I started looking into Orion after that, to see if it was something I could use, and bought the program shortly after. However, he's not active on the forum.

Out of curiousity, why isn't Bone's music your thing? May I ask how much you paid for your Ocelot CD. How many tracks is on the album? How would you rate the album from 1 (being the lowest) to 10? How are you getting on with Orion?
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum? Are you deliberately trying to stir the shit or what? :rage:

Don't know what you're trying to do, but: 1) I forget how much I paid for Ocelot's cd. I ordered it from Psyshop.com, which means I paid full price for it. It has ten tracks. I would say for the style and sound I wanted with it, it fits the bill perfectly. As far as Novakill stuff..... well, it's just a matter of personal taste. The sound qualtiy is ok, but I don't resonate with the content. I do like 'darker' genres of music, but atmospheric wise is what I'm talking about. Voidloss has produced some sounds that fit this image for me. I don't really enjoy listening to people sing about their hatred of God etc., so Novakill is not for me.

Hmmm... It wasn't the response I was looking for, but it's a response nonetheless. What do you think, DEE? I'd like to think that this is an intelligent forum, therefore I am inclined to expect intelligent responses. How strange...

Hmmm... Lol! Is it not obvious? Ok... I want to see what people are doing on here it terms of music genres. I also want to guage the level of activity in terms of support for other musicians and if this is a good place to market ones music. That's it really! Oh, maybe try and find out what is the most listened to genre here. Who makes what type of music with Orion. That's it. No hidden agendas to destroy the minds of the forum members.
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum?Well, I listen to all kinds of music, so to pinpoint what genre I listen to is not the easiest. However, I listen to primarily psytrance when it comes to electronic music.
This is a forum dedicated to the software made by Synapse. Maybe some of the artists can promote some music here that's also promoted elsewhere, but it's mainly a place to talk about software, and get feedback on music made with that software. If you're trying to make money by promoting your music on this website, maybe it's not the best place to do it...... but people are interested to hear what you're doing with the software, and I'm sure if it's good enough, someone might buy it. So, I guess you could include it in your list of places to promote your music, if that's what you're asking.
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum?I can't help but see this as a thread to accompany some discussion in 'Is 'Goth' still big?'.. but i will say that I plan on buying the next novakill whenever it arrives.
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum? It's not a nice answer but since you ask.I wouldn't buy any of the above, nor do I believe they would want to buy any of mine.I would like to believe that Orion is a program that could be used in any genre of music so it doesn't really make any difference who would do what with whos whatsit.

Of course! Continuity is important. Threads are interlinked. I wish to learn about certain types of music. I want to know what makes the following bands unique from each other: EngelMaker CombiChrist Suicide Commando Novakill To me they are similar in sound and theme. I just wonder if others see it to?

Did You Know you can download my albums on 1albums.com and you can promote your own there to

Would you buy music from anyone on this forum?Suicide Commando sound absolutely nothing whatsoever like we do. In fact, my band-mate did a piss-take of their style which had us both rolling on the floor laughing at how absurdly easy it was to do. That said, it may well find it's way onto our next album, if we get to release another one, because I don't mind Johann's style, I just cannot get into the fact that every song on an album sounds exactly the same.
Combichrist are probably the most appropriate band we have supported but I do find it hard to get into their stuff. It also lacks variety and the songs themselves are generally very simple. I've never heard of EngelMaker. [Wouldn't it be EngelMacher?] As to the original question, I think it highly unlikely. There is probably far less chance of me finding something worth listening to here than in my local record store [which only stocks top 40 stuff]. If your taste is fairly broad or mainstream, you might have more luck but if it isn't, then there is little chance of hearing anything worthwhile from such a diverse base of artistic interest. TBH, I don't listen to anything here anymore. I long ago realised it is just a waste of time. Dell G7 (Hexa-Core i7)|Cubase Pro 10||Analog Keys|Ultranova|MicroMonsta|Uno|Skulpt|Craft Synth 2.0|

Would you buy music from anyone on this forum? Thanks, bones! You've given me some homework to do. Yes, EngelMacher. I need to get into touch with Electro-Industrial / EBM again.
I have diverse tastes. I also put a lot of pressure on myself to do something that has variation... Something that's vital! Yes, please take the piss out of Suicide Commando on your next album! I sincerely hope you get to make it! Maybe you should post a tutorial / and or Orion files so we can see how they do it! That's not the spirit... What about Voidloss? I would have thought you'd be into that... No? Hmmm... I hope to produce something that you'd like to listen to.
Would you buy music from anyone on this forum?there are great musicians arround here
but it is generally not my cup of tea. I dunno all. however I'll consider buying some voidloss when I'll have money (I start working in one week). Btw my last house track (deep vibe) will be avalaible on net shops (amazone, itune...) within one month. My friend asked me to try it !
