Hi folks, new (but boring) minimal/tech track. Have to change the arrangement and make the bassline kick ass. Am very happy with the sound quality. But anyway.

New TrackHi DaZoid!
I don't find this boring ... actually it sounds a quite interesting. The mix is very refined, Not the usual stuff or yours? I can guess it has taken some time to mix those low dynamic shades.
New Trackyeah, thats a nice tune.
In deed I find the bass line too soft... it doesent make me move. deep mix, with alot of dynamic range, nice synths arrangements, nice structure Orion 8, Live 8Le, Cubase 4 LE, Cantana, APC40, UC16, Fostex PM1MKII, Q9550, 4G0, 1,5T, 22"+15"

New TrackIt depends on what the music is meant for, I guess? I think it's good for every artist sometimes make music in different styles. This particular song could be a very good soundtrack music (saying this is always a compliment from me, I like film music ). I like the mood of the song.

New TrackThe best way to make this track sound a little more intreastng is to add slight variations to the drum beat. I would'nt change the drum beat, however add more percusive action in the background being careful not to saturate the grove with your new additions.

New TrackIt's sounding good to me too Dazoid. Tight and solid like that Agassi guy and some the other guys I've been learning about here. Love that big synth burst and other sounds that come in. Fresh, all the way around!
My criticism would be in the titling and marketing of the song. When I saw the label and title, I half expected this 'fast action music' and wild synths bouncing from speaker to speaker. I'd say the tune has a more 'Metropolitan' vibe - seeing the sites from a cab ride in Paris or London or Tokyo at night. Japanese teens looking like Elvis chillin' in a club to this. Sexy woman in the doorway when that synth burst happens. Getting pills in the alley outside... Those types of things. I think a more innovative title, and subdued graphic to go with it - it would be a serious groove on comp CD's and clubs. That's just my 2 cents anyways.
New Track
Well, that's what I call a graphic description, man. :biglol: Cool thing! Yeah, actually I produced this track for Martin's Kling Klong label. So, 124 bpm is more or less a must. But it was very new to me to go that slow. That might have been the reason for losing the plot. I normally go with 128 to 132 bpm. Thanks for your feedback. New TrackIt's fresh and slick, a really cool track. I like the slow stuff myself, and just find it more 'picturesque' and thought evoking. So many people refer to Joni Mitchell's big hit as 'Paved Paradise(Put Up A Parking Lot0' - and it's actually entitled 'Big Yellow Taxi'. At first I was like WTF? But it made me listen that much closer, and sure enough in the lyrics is 'big yellow taxi took away my old man' (70's terminology for her boyfriend taking off on her. ) So readin and listening to the lyrics, the song made perfect sense then with that title. Your tune - sounds like some funky stuff is going on - really direct, but with purpose. The title just slays me though... Pong Ping, sounds like two pandas playing badminton or something?
Good art should be well titled to make it great art. You definately got some good art on this tune.
New TrackReally nice take on minimal. You definetly score big on the ambience. Nice coincidence that I am currently listening to a lot of music which goes hand in hand with this Kling Kling offering. I was not expecting the blasting dynamics that the track displays at times, but it kind of wakes you up to what is going on.
I like that it stays away from the monotonous and repetetive although it is minimal. To many artists lack innovation, something you do not seem to suffer. Thanks for the ride!
New Track
Hi Icaro, I will see. I am working on finalizing an older project right now and then want to start a new minimal / tech / tech house track. Will see if I find the energy to modify Pong Ping. Actually, it is ok as is. Would be too much work to make it a club gate crusher Monty Mo
New Tracknice, maybe you can make some change on bass . it seems a little simple.
I'm blacker,tibetan blacker.
