hello!
i'm trying to use the FIT button in the drumrack to force a 4bar drumloop to current tempo.
i can't seem to make it work.
i load the drumloop, click the FIT button and it tries to fit the whole 4bars into 1bar, so i change the pattern length from 16 to 64 and re-click FIT, and NO CHANGE.
i can tune down a whole octave - now the loop plays 2x fast (double time) but it IS synced perfectly to my tempo at double time...
i need it to play just regurally all 4bars, not at double speed.
any ideas?
HELP!!

Re: HELP needed - using FIT in the drumrackYou need to set the FIT LENGTH, not the pattern length. It's the digital spinner control above the FIT button in the Default UI.

Re: HELP needed - using FIT in the drumrackThe right combination of both the Fit length and Pattern length, in conjunction with the Tune knob will allow you to hear the sample, in time, at three different octaves. In other words, half-time, double time, or close to original... but in time. It will always shift the pitch and speed. It is pitch shifting, not time stretching.
