Re: If ORION won't run your x64 VST2...Minihost Modular (free from Image-Line) is another working solution. Very handy for other things.
Technique: jBridge the 32 bit Minihost Modular to 64, and you have an alternate way to run 32 bit plugins in ORION x64. Nice for building effects chains or layered synths of old. "The most negative people are usually the ones with the least to offer." - unk

Re: If ORION won't run your x64 VST2...Thank for the tip man. I'll tell you what. It may be awhile. The reason is option overload.

Re: If ORION won't run your x64 VST2...DDMF Metaplugin makes ORION effectively blind to VST protocol.
I am using it in 64 bit ORION. So far I have run VST3, problematic VST2 64 (that I previously had to jBridge from 64 to 64), and also VST2 32. It has an internal bridger of it's own. Additionally, it has up to 8x oversampling. I just ran a very old EH MiniSynth 32 bit into 8x OS, and the difference was obvious. I say it breathes new life onto your old clsssic VSTs. I would say this program is a must for running Orion in 2023. They have a demo available. The only problem I have run into is scanning/bridging 32 bit Focusrite effects. No other issues. This is the emotion I feel running Metaplugin in Orion EDIT: I have found a few more oldies that it wont load. AudioOxygen Gemini (1) and a small # of others.
