I use box.net for work and study related documents, soundcloud for audio (you can send files in private, as demo's or whatever, which is something some people forget) and yousendit for audio files under 100 megabyte's. The problem with yousendit is that it is not a permanent storage facility, but lets your files be up for one week. Soundcloud and box.net is permanent until you remove the files yourself.
