your computer is automatically recognize (MAC adress ?) and a personnal folder is created.
You can manage it how you want to make your files inside public or private,
The dowwload is a bit slow to me however...

That Rapidshare is good for quick simple things I find. Certainly not a place if one wants permanent access.

I think BoxNet allows for that? Is it up to the uploader Krim to keep and delete stuff? I don't recall seeing a time duration there?

boxnet lets you manage your own folders...yes. (and no waiting to DL or pop-ups etc, very clean and reliable

I use that one too for sending out demos promos etc. Very convenient!

Also nice to privately share whole projects with collaborators (remix projects etc).

but getdropbox has a upper size limit
don't boxnet limit your file size to 25 Mo ?

File Savr you can upload files of up to 10GB. There is no public file library, but files may not be considered private as the file name may be guessed. There is no time cap on how long items will be stored, the only limitation being that they must be downloaded on a regular basis.
