Repair SFS damaged ?"Stream read error".
Repair SFS damaged ?
Cannot open, not even with the SFS Analyzer. I recommend to you a data recovery of those files, that might repair the files to openable. I have good experience with R-Studio as it worked when every other app failed to successfully recover files from lost partitions. http://www.r-studio.com/ http://www.data-recovery-software.net/
Repair SFS damaged ?I understand you say that again retrieve files from the partition, but maybe it's possible since I deleted and re-created. I'll try with this r-studio.
Thank you.
Repair SFS damaged ?don't forget to save regularly your song folder on dvd/cd
if your daw is connected to Internet you can use a software like mozy, idrive, ibackup ... Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
Repair SFS damaged ?He used a flash drive, but damage and has not restarted.
Repair SFS damaged ?Hi saw this thread from last month; I had a windows7 crash (blue screen etc) when I tried to open up a new SFS, while I had Hulu streaming down some show in the background. Don't know if that's what caused it, but... my sfs is corrupted. SFS Analyzer will open it! But Orion won't. I don't see that SFS Analyzer can "save down" the SFS again "uncorrupted" ?
Repair SFS damaged ?Yes, I also saw how to retrieve the file, I think only a configuration guide to know that I had.
Repair SFS damaged ?So were you able to restore it? Anyone know the steps to recover the 'corrupted' file?
Repair SFS damaged ?Not recover anything, I could not open the sfs
Repair SFS damaged ?The analyzer cannot save files. It reads the sfs structure without loading any data or initializing plugins. If SFS analyzer shows most of the data fine (log tab also shows some errors) it is possible to salvage the file more or less. One special feature of the SFS analyzer is semi-heurestic data skipping especially on VST's custom data. Incase the data size is incorrect from what the data chunk is saying, SFS analyzer tries to determine the correct place to continue so it can read rest of the file data for analyzing. I recall for later Orion versions we added something similar to detect these cases (end markers to look for from the file).
