Maybe some of you would like use the transport of your midi controller with Orion. Or don't move the left hand of your controller to the keyboard an viceversa. That's possible thanks to Bome's Midi Translator Classic. I bought this inexpensive program and a inexpensive midi controller (nanoKontrol).
The midi controller with this program acts as a Keyboard, modifiers alone [ctrl], shortcuts [tab] are assigned to nanoKontrol buttons. Transport too. It's easy to program, you will need midiYoke too for virtual midi ports.
I can even temporaly ignore piano roll grid keeping down a button of my nanoKontrol, while I'm moving groups of notes I can ignore the snap keeping down this button, and when I release the button you cannot ignore snap anymore, because I have it programmed as Momentary button
If anyone need help please feel free to ask
Best regards

Orion - Midi total controlIf I'm not mistaken Orion 8 will allow Midi CC control over the Transport buttons. But it sounds like Bome's will allow a great deal more control over other actions.
Orion - Midi total controlI thought Bome's was free too? I think Hubi's Loopback is also capable. and good ol' MIDI Yoke as well. But from what I've seen of Bome's it would be a good investment.
Orion - Midi total controlYes MIDI CC assignments to transport will come in Orion 8. As well as support for motorized faders.

Is motorised fader support the same as feedback for continuous rotary pots? ie when you select an instrument the knob values will be indicated on the pot leds. mmmmmmmmm ---=u f o=--- /Radiation Mutant / Snee-Nee-Iq
