Getting OP to recognise VST Inst folder.Maybe that's the way to go then. It's like coming out of a coma here and trying to piece back 10 years of my musical life on this thing. I just followed the easy instructions when I first got OP - playable synths go to the VST Inst. folder, effects go to the VST Plug in folder. And WaveLab as well, plunk the fancy stuff in it's VST folder and you're good to go. OP could snag SonicMax from WaveLab, and WL wasn't concerned about Floopy Synth and/or Butcher Blade gating FX in OP. So it was all a nice happy community for a long time. Now it's like 'securities on the west end, the refugees are on the east, the evacuee's are all centralized in the stadium, and we're waiting for FEMA to draw up the flow charts'.

That's true, my bad. Been a while since I even last seen Pro-53, but to name another example, Rainbow2 won't allow you to move any files around. My plugins are all inside Orion's VSTplugins folder (that's my centralized VST folder), all sorted in subfolders, so this tool would be of little use for me, as I have to change the installation paths anyway. I have very few of them installed in "Program Files", mostly those huge ones with libraries like EWQL Orchestra, but that's solved by putting shortcuts in my VSTplugins folder inside Orion.
