Why change the sound when I dump the project?

Postby toniterrassa » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:18 am

Hello.

I have a project that sounds good in Orion (all tracks are by "M "), but when I dump to mp3 or wav sound changes and you lose such a kick in the first section to reinforce later: Why ?.
There is no effect inserted in any channel, including the master.

Thank's

Try to dump with the same resolution which you use while producing. Like 16/44.

Tested: This is not the cause, the resolution is correct.

Thank you

Incredible !

I have each of the separate tracks for wavs to play correctly, but when I load them in another DAW and make the bounce to mp3 ...is exactly the same as in the sample that I uploaded here!.

I do not understand ... :(

The kick in that loop file you attached sounds to me as it should. I don't hear or have noticed any volume changes between the two parts, so don't really know what you mean. The second part has bass added, so if you're "looking" at it in an audio editor, without listening, it would seem that the first part is lowered, when in fact it's not.

What did you use to listen to the rendered wav/mp3 file, and how exactly do you notice changes?

Well I usually make a second hearing of the projects through the laptop speakers. You may be right and more a problem with these speakers, because I've tried to reproduce the dump files (mp3 and wav) using the monitors and no loss of sound.

I find it strange, but it may be as you say.

Thanks

perhaps the lappy speakers do not cover the low end range that your kick is occupying - it therefore only reproduces the higher freq components of that kick............ :?:

That's something you should have done right away when you doubted what you heard. Quite frankly, I think you'd even go better off with those earbuds than speakers on your laptop.
