Today, I face a problem. Problem is Output sound different. First, i take a synth shot wav file in Fl and draw it piano roll G4 key. Output Sound is-http://www.tunescoop.com/play/313330393733/1-wav
Next, This Synth shot wav file i am open it Sampler in Orion and also draw it's piano roll G4 key. Output Sound is-http://www.tunescoop.com/play/313330393734/2-wav
But I found some different sound, like different Tune.
So, what's your opinion?? Need any change, sampler 'Program Editor' or any settings??
[ In Fl, the sound is good like sound quality is deep but in Orion Sound is week. So i use IL Soundgodizer for deep sound.]
Sorry my English language.

Re: Sampler Soundyes, a G4 wav need to be set as a G4 sample in the Program Editor.
then you need to tweak the sampler to get something loud : you can start : ATT=0, DEC=128, SUS=0, REL=0 and VOL=128 Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
Re: Sampler Sound
can't understand. [i think, needs not to know, the wav file key. i want to change the key sound using piano roll]
NIce Plzz give me some suggestion of Sampler Program Editor.
Re: Sampler SoundIf I understand correctly...
You sampled a (soft) synth sound in/from FL Studio and imported that into the Sampler? If you don't wanna build a multisample-program, so only want the sampled G4 to sound correctly in the Sampler, it's enough to insert notes onto a C note (C4 or C5, not sure which one at which Orion versions, because it has changed in the past) so you wouldn't need to bother with the program editor. A G4 sound imported by default, without program editing, will be resampled and pitched off, if you play it with G4 or every other notes, except the root C.
Re: Sampler Soundi did not understand your explanation until i downloaded the wave file, and i have wrongly assumed that you have sampled a one shot sound.
a one shot sound is mainly used for percussion and is a single stroke or one note played on the sampled instrument in your case, it's a sampled loop from a bass synth where you played 16 times a G4. with orion, you have 3 possibilities : drag and drop the sample on the playlist to play it, the tuning will be good but you cannot change anything but to normalize it load the loop inside a drumrack, again the tuning will be good but you have more options, to listen just click on the first square and set the length of the pattern to 32 because your sample is a 2 measure loop, turn the gain knob to the max load the loop inside the sampler, set the length of the pattern to 32, draw a 32 step long C4 note and tweak the sampler amplitude envelope to ATT=0, DEC=0, SUS=100, REL=0 and VOL=100, you will not be able to change the key (drawing a C5 for example) because the loop will play 2 times but you will be able to use the sampler filter and lfo. Re: Sampler SoundI solve it. Fl G4 key = Orion G3 key Because [In Fl, Root key is C5] So, in Orion i change it's Root key C4 to C5. Then ............ok
Another Problem is when i import this-http://www.tunescoop.com/play/313331303638/bass-wav in sampler, after 4bar, sound not stop..like-http://www.tunescoop.com/play/313331303733/4-wav So, how to stop the sound after 4 bar? Re: Sampler Sound
where and why did you change the root key ? i explained you to simply play your sample with C4, there is nothing to change apart the amplitude envelope
you mean 4 step ? again set your amplitude envelope as explained above (ATT=0, DEC=0, SUS=100, REL=0 and VOL=100), it's very important to understand this concept post your sfs and i will fix it for you here is my solution to your last problem : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/185731/bass%20example.sfs Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
Re: Sampler Sound
I think you have a distorted view of the relation between samples and notes. The note is still the same whether it's played in Orion of FL (obvious difference is 1 octave, but maybe because Orion's notation system starts at C0, instead of C1). But all that doesn't apply for samples, it works for generators (as in instruments that generate the sounds). While samples have their notes, upon importing they will always have a root note as reference. Kind of like a drum sample. So, if it's all the same to you, just play your samples in C5, regardless if the note of the sample is G4 or any other key. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Sampler SoundIn FL Studio Midi Note # 36 is C3. In Orion note # 36 is C2. The Midi Spec only specifies note number 60 as Middle C. There has never been a standard beyond that as some developers use note number zero as C0 some call note zero C -2.
http://www.electronics.dit.ie/staff/tscarff/Music_technology/midi/midi_note_numbers_for_octaves.htm In other words from a Midi controller note number 60 is always note number 60 but if you mouse in a note in FL's Piano Roll at C5 you'll have to mouse it in at C4 in Orion's Piano Roll for them to match.....
Re: Sampler SoundSampler->Program Editor->KM Root Key
Thank you.
Re: Sampler Sound
Thanks.
Re: Sampler Sound
when you change the root key, you must set the right key, so for your G4 note you set G4 you can find the tuning of a sample with Voxango SPAN http://www.voxengo.com/product/span/ Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
