One thing I'd like to see Orion have the ability to do is to set up feedback loops in the mixer.
This would be very useful in conjunction with an insert device that sends/receives to external audio I/O.
I'd be interested to hear whether this requires a deep engine modification or whether there's just a few lines that say 'no feedback'.

Re: Feedback loopsI've been asking for this for ages. It's used a lot in dub to feed a delay back on itself (yes I know there are dub and filter delays but they are not the same thing).
I think the last response I got was that Orion is designed specifically not be able to create feedback loops, so I don't hold out much hope for it being developed, from only two users requesting the feature.
Re: Feedback loopsDo you think a lot of users already requested this type of feature with Orion?
Re: Feedback loopsDiscovery!
Okay, I'm pretty excited about this and kmatm I think this will appeal to you too. So there's this VST plugin called Senderella (great name). Load up an instance of it in a mixer strip, set it to 'return' mode, add the effects you want in your loop after it, then after those put in another Senderella instance and set it to 'send' on the same internal channel (and watch your levels). Instant real outboard loop-style feedback, no limits. Senderella
