gui for transient shaper?

Postby Audinomaly » Sat Dec 29, 2012 4:48 pm

I may be alone in this boat, but as someone who started on software and pretty much skipped the hardware learning curve entirely, terminology and icons make a world of difference in how intuitive some processes are. The Transient Shaper's abbreviated knob names don't make a lot of sense at first, and I can't help but wonder if having some sort of envelope display (like the WASP's ADSR panels) would be useful.

My ears cannot reach the keyboard to dial in values.

In no way are those abbreviations intuitive to people new to the concept of transient shapers. E presumably stands for "Envelope", but then again, it isn't defined anywhere. And ears will only tell me "Uh.. it kind of does this when I move it this way... The fuck does 'E' stand for, again?"

Sorry if I'm being obtuse, but what does this have to do with labeling functions on the Transient Shaper?

I doubt whether it's a legit entity. I'll keep my eye out.

i have no idea what any of those knobs do, apart from Attack and Decay. The help files says nothing about them (as usual)
