I use Orion 64bit on Windows7Pro, mostly. However there are many times I would like to use 32bit-only VSTs.
Could both the 64bit and the 32bit versions of Orion run at the same time on the same machine and send synchronized audio back and forth between each other?

Re: use 32bit VSTsWhy do you need the 64 bi tversion at all? Do you find yourself running out of memory or processing power very often? I've been on a 64 bit OS for years but I'v enever even thought about running Orion 64 bit. I can't see the point, it doesn't improve teh quality of yoru work or reduce your latency or anything, it just saves you a bit of overhead.

Re: use 32bit VSTs
I think it is possible, but.... at least you should use two computers. And your audio driver can normally be used by one application. OK, I´m using Adobe Audition to record and check levels, and both apps are running the same driver, but I´m not sure if this is comparable. BTW, a Mac can use more than one audio interface. PCs only work with multiple audio interfaces if they´re able to cascade. But you should try out an older version of Orion (7.62 should do the job I think) because you can try out ReWire. Today´s Orion only works as ReWire host. Or maybe you just try another DAW. And finally, you could use an VST wrapper. So far, now I´d like to know why you want to run 32bit and 64bit VSTs at the same time "I need more details."
Re: use 32bit VSTsNo, you cannot run 2 instances of Orion at the same time on the same pc.

Re: use 32bit VSTs
Some plugins do not have 64 bit versions........
Re: use 32bit VSTsJust go with 32bit. It's fine. I started missing some plugins that I love as they were not available as 64bit. So, I just started using the 32bit version of Orion (on my 64bit system) et voilà, great fun. And my productions are kind of complex. No problem so far.
Re: use 32bit VSTs
You´re right... All my best weapons (vst plugins) are in 32bits... "Pleeease, bring back ORION!"
