Why only long reverb time on Antidote?

Postby svenh » Fri Feb 28, 2014 7:07 am

I've got RE Antidote and I like it a lot. There is only one thing that bothers me: with its chain of excellent effects, why is the minimum reverb time limited to 1 second? A reverb with shorter time is a great alternative to delay for making sounds larger without loosing precense!

Sorry if this has been discussed before - I did not find any search function for these fora...

Warm regards,
Sven

Search should be visible now :D google with Synapse Audio Forum as part of the terms also works

Can't help with your Antidote question though, I don't have Reason.

The reverb algorithm used in Antidote RE is best suited for medium/long reverb times. We developed some good room algorithms for Dune 2 meanwhile, however, which we can add into future versions of Antidote :)
