Loading own short samples into Dune2!

Postby Funmichi » Sat Sep 20, 2014 1:33 pm

Dune 2 is nice but a possibility to load own samples would be nice!

No sampler possibilities!!!
Just loading SINGLE samples like a voice or a wave form (maximum 8 seconds lenght or so) of a recorded synth with intelligent pitch shifting with no speed changing on different pitches!

No audio editor, no key mapping, nothing!!!
Just a loading f a short audio sample for generating own sounds and using it as base!

Woa calm down big guy !!!!!!

8 Seconds is a "small sample" ?

Anyway we've asked for .sfz support in DUNE 2 and I think the answer was perhaps in a future Synapse product.

There is a tool to create your own wavetables but I'm not sure that's been released to the general public yet. :)

Yes of course but you can only load one .sfz file (and not all the files I have work). It'd be nice to be able to load 8 .sfz files and layer them (or play them in sequence ala the Wavestation) but I don't think that's DUNE 2's raison d'ĂȘtre........

A new product with D2's engine and aimed more at the rompler market would be most welcome here....and in my opinion might sell rather well. :)

Yes, Zampler is a bit limited, but its free and fits the bill just about... i dont think D2 is meant to be a rompler

I agree D2 is not meant to be a Rompler but I'd love to see a new product using the D2 Engine that is a Rompler...... :D

It's not released, because another tool emerged. You can try with it. It's called Audio-Term, it's free, and you can find a download link on KVR: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 0#p5879901
