I'm a happy new Dune 2 owner, and would also love to see tuning maps implemented at some point in the future.
Alternate tunings are fascinating to me, and I love exploring those kinds of things with my music students. The future of music could be filled with fascinating new rhythms, amazing chords and exotic scales that are currently off-limits with most VI's, DAW's etc. I think artists would be surprised how quickly listeners can adapt to new sounds and grow to sincerely appreciate them.
I suspect it would not be added unless there was more wide-spread enthusiasm for this. Fortunately, I do have other synths with this capability: Rhino, Pianoteq, Z3ta+, Kontakt and Reaktor. I believe U-he also includes this with some of their synths. Adding Dune 2 to the list would be amazing.
