Global Tranpose Buttons

Hi

A simple useful feature would be to add a transpose up/down like on the Legend but better would be 2 small buttons like on Spire VST

So useful when you have a midi sequence playing in loop and going through the patches, such a drag to go to the sequencer to transpose or semi tune each oscillator

It doesn't take lot of space and I'm pretty sure it's quite easy to implement

I presume you mean Dune 3.

Why not use the mod matrix?

Yes Dune 3

It's kind of a pain to program to mod matrix at every patch change.

For example, not every patch are designed at the same octave, so when scrolling through the patches (while the sequencer is playing in loop), you can test quickly using the transpose buttons to figure out the right octave and find out if the patches work.

Maybe overkill but there is one more way, since DUNE v3.6 it is possible to use MTS-ESP for global tuning inside your project. This has the added benefit that all your instruments tune to the desired frequency or even scale.

Usually I would do it like Mark though and use the mod matrix for this.

Are you talking about a sequence in your DAW or in Dune?

A sequence in the DAW

Let's say you have a bass riff or any other type of patch looping from the daw sequencer and you are scrolling through patches

Different sound designers tune the octaves of the oscillator differently.

It need to be quick to adjust, not something you program or go in the settings on each patch change, just like on The Legend or Spire VST, I could see the two small up/down octave buttons in the main section.

All synths should have this, it's quite a hassles to go back to the sequencer moving the "midi" up/down when scrolling and the patch is not at the right octave.
