It would be cool if you could improve live sets by making it possible to switch from your computer keyboard to a MIDI keyboard. This would give you more than just 9 sets.
In addition it would be cool if the user could some how setup a default set. This would be good because every time you’re to select a new set, every generator wouldn’t go to A1. It would be better if every generator went to H8 by default. This would improve work flow.

Improve Live Sets. How would it give you more than 9 sets? My MIDI controller only has 4 buttons on it. Surely you wouldn't want to waste a piano keyboard on changing live sets? What a waste.
Jumping to H8 might improve your workflow but I think most people would find it a PITA. At least A1 would be the right selection some times, H8 never would. I think live sets are good as they are. They are simple and they just work. I've toyed with the idea of using them on stage and I'm pretty sure I'd only need 4 or 5 sets to do a while song. It would lose some of the detail, like drum fills and stuff, but my oppo can provide those from his OctaPad and I can do the rest from my controller. Improve Live Sets.Well you wouldnt waste a piano keyboard if you were given a way to toggle it on and off.
When you have 15 or so generators A1 is a PITA, perhaps this would be something we could also toggle on and off or be given an option to set a default set. -Orion-Emu 1616 -Korg Triton Extreme - Ibanez - Vox Tone Labs.
