How about a Juno and SH-101???

Naturally these are just ideas - But with Orion having already got a number of old skool synth how about a couple more??? - With the more powerful computers it wouldn't be a problem and would add to the Orion Studio as it were.

Juno
SH-101

Make a nice addition to the bassline synth/wasp/and leads

in case you'd be interested.. Goldbaby has a SH-101 sampleset. Sure, you can't tweak them like a vsti, but in Orion's sampler you'd still be able to manipulate them some. I don't have it, but I have some of their drum machine samples which are well done.

I loved my Alpha Juno and I have yet to come across an emulation that I liked.

How about buying a third party synth? I think there a many on the market which are close to the ones you have in your list.

Maby SynthEdit will be good for that :-)

Thanks for this pointer!!! - I do have Reaktor and when all house work is finished I will look into this further so I may ask more info later in the year!!! - Great to use it in Orion......btw, can Reaktor make a skin that looks like a 101? - Or is one made already?

Synth maker also!!!

@faz - what version of Reaktor do You have?

As the part of library I searched I haven't found skinned SH-101 yet ... but synth exists since second version of Reaktor.

Reaktor 5 - It's the latest I think but I haven't got access to it currently cos of refurb and won't be till Sept-Oct that I can get my hands on but I do have it!!! - And Synth Maker too which is cheaper. I'm looking forward to learning more etc.....and being able to spend more time on stuff.......

btw, I tried one of those synths out the SH--09 didn't work on my Vista laptop with Orion...

Maby this is not Vista/Orion problem but maby becouse files are saved in some old/older version with unchecked option "All Controls visible in Ensemble" for any main ensembles, otherwise newest version produces an error realted to bad source file.
