low cut filter on mixer strip?will the low cut filter be on the mixer strip for orion 8? i seem to use it in almost all channels.
low cut filter on mixer strip?wasn't it there before? if so, it was before my time.. but i think i remember talk of it.
low cut filter on mixer strip?i dont think i ever saw it since version3 to current. i am talking about the module in
Fx Filter->Low Cut Filter
low cut filter on mixer strip?I asked for it a couple of times, I'd prefer the Low Cut included on the Mixer. (Insert slots are too few, holders are a hassle to handle, integration would free up slots...)
I also use it in almost every channel. :p
low cut filter on mixer strip?
yeah, i remembered wrong.. this is what i was thinking of (from 2006):

low cut filter on mixer strip? How funny, I was just thinking about this very thing yesterday, and was going to post a comment about it. I use a filter on pretty much every ch. except kick/bass...... and sometimes I use a filter on the kick to cut out extreme lows and give more room for the bass. Seems like it would make a lot of sense just to add it to the mixer.
low cut filter on mixer strip?Low Cut Filter's easy to snag off the menu and insert. Would I want it all over the board, no.
Worse comes to worst, just stick it on Bus 1 or Master Insert and there you go!
low cut filter on mixer strip?no its very hard add low cut filter (LCF) all the time as you increase your generators and fx. also this adding fx in slot is tricky, sometimes you miss and select the existing fx! so you have to move the mouse slowly in linear fashion. right click->move X->move Y slowly. do it fast and it lands on existing fx and you have to select new again
bus1? i never use it as global, but on each synth.
low cut filter on mixer strip? For me, the EQ's and/or synths I'm using is usually enough. I always look at LCF as a 'base floor' for an entire mix, or to use it as a overall effect to swoosh out tracks or an entire mix.
low cut filter on mixer strip?I rarely use cutoff filters on mixer strips, so this wouldn't be particularly useful to me, and I wouldn't like to give up screen real estate for it. Similarly, I use the Platinum Gate on most of my channels now; I'd reckon most of you don't want that in your face by default either
Phreque.com - Weapons-Grade Awesome.
low cut filter on mixer strip?A simple toggled 75 Hz cut like found on some hardware mixers wouldn't take up much space.
low cut filter on mixer strip?Platinum Gate is not a filter. the mixer already has several eq's, so adding low cut sounded logical. in this day of 22" monitors, i think there is a lot of real estate.
low cut filter on mixer strip?I wasn't comparing it to one. I was simply stating I want the feature requested as much as you want Plat. Gate to be part of it.

low cut filter on mixer strip?plat gate on the mixer strip? LOL ok
low cut filter on mixer strip?Again, the OP effects are so easy to snag and insert. If buried in a big VST or DX folder that always had to be sifted through - I could see the need.
Maybe Rich should install the Vocoder on the mixer - I hate having to look for that thing! :biglol:
