Audio copy and pasteAny reason why it couldnt be possible to right click on an audio chunk, be able to select copy, then paste it at whatever time the transport bar is?
Re: Audio copy and pasteYou can copy audio in the same way you copy patterns - CTRL-drag a selection box over the part you want (or change to the lasso tool), then drag it to where you want the copy while continuing to hold down the CTRL key. It works extra well, in that you can select just part of an audio clip and copy it to a new location.

Re: Audio copy and pasteI'll have to try it again. I used CTRL and it didnt seem to work at all
By the way, I was using a 3min stretch that I'd narrowed in Orion to a smaller part - if that makes any difference? I found it VERY difficult to control and get what I want. While with a bit of practice it may be ok, I suggest that anyone who think's it's good, should go out and test comparators like Acid, Ableton etc. [apologies if you gave - and all just my opinion]
Re: Audio copy and pasteI prefer to do all my editing of audio files in Audacity, including trimming.
I don't mess with that functionality in Orion because it feels awkward. This does not bother me.
Re: Audio copy and paste
What does that have to do with the subject of this thread....Audio Copy and Paste?
Re: Audio copy and paste
I agree it would be nice if Copy/Paste could be added to right click on an Audio track in the Playlist.
