i don't think it's usefull because memory usage does not vary during playback
and when you add your synth and effect you can open the task manager to check usage
on the contrary cpu usage will vary depending how many notes play simultaneously, so it's mandatory

Of course the information of how much memory your project requires and how much you have left to work with is useful. Opening the Task Manager ? Really? That's just another a silly workaround. Then you might as well keep the Task Manager open to get your CPU usage numbers as well since they are more accurate than Orion's meter especially on multicore systems........
