I apologize in advance… I'm sure this topic has been addressed in a thread somewhere already. In any case, I can't find it. I've downloaded, installed, and registered both Dune and Dune 2 on my MacPro running the latest version of Ableton. For whatever reason, I can't get Ableton to recognize my new plugins. I've restarted Ableton, rescanned my plugins, restarted again, etc… all of the usual methods. Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks so much.
Sincerely,
Stupid New User

Re: Using Dune/Dune 2 with Ableton Live SuiteWhy don't you ask for help on the ableton forum? The only suggestion I have is backup your song files and reinstall live.
Re: Using Dune/Dune 2 with Ableton Live SuiteI had the same problem on Windows.
You can do a 'deep' rescan of your VST-plugins by pressing the 'alt'-key when clicking on rescan This solved the issue in my case. Update: extract of the Live User Manual, chapter 17.2 : You can also rescan if you believe that your plug-in database has somehow become corrupted. Holding down the [ALT](PC) / [ALT](Mac) modifier while pressing Rescan will delete your plug- in database altogether and run a clean scan of your plug-ins. ---------------------------------

Re: Using Dune/Dune 2 with Ableton Live Suitecould be you placed the wrong bit versions in the vst folder:
Ableton can only read 32bit vsts, when you have ableton live 32bit. for ableton 64bit you can only use 64bit vsts, the other ones wont show up.
