Hi,
Is there a hack to edit and customize Hydra's MIDI map?
Here's the problem that would be dealt with:
Cubase suffers from a nasty bug introduced in the transition from VST to SX, and still unaddressed. Even if "reset on stop" isn't ticked in the preferences, some CCs are wrongly reset on stop, from the moment they are played at least once by the MIDI track. The problematic CCs are #1, 2, 16, 17, 18, 19, 33, 34, 36, 48, 49, 50, 51, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69. Several of them are used in Hydra's default MIDI map.
Concretely, it's impossible to use these CCs, then to play Hydra or to adjust its sound, when Cubase is not running. Hydra's settings are wrecked. In some circumstances Hydra is totally silent (for instance when the filter cutoff is low and dependent on the setting of the ENVAMT control, since ENVAMT is CC#34 and wrongly reset on stop).
Thanks for your time and help

Re: Hydra MIDI MapGood news:
From what I understood, the next Cubase updates deal with this issue. So no need to edit Hydra's MIDI map anymore
