Hello citizens, I have purchased Hydra, registered and downloaded the retail, saved my prior preset on Steinberg Cubase 5 ".vstpreset" and subscribed to the fresh Installation. In steady it has not been recognized by Hydra as preset and scrulled up all to the retail one.
What to do to get back my settings to the preset?

Re: Hydra Bought! Great!
hello what do you mean by retail ? you mean default ? what is your OS ? Mac OSX or Windows it's look like your hydra is not registered but still in demo mode Yamaha CS-30, Roland SH-1, Roland MKS70, Focusrite Scarlett 18i6, Yamaha FS1R, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation Remote 37SL, Korg Legacy, Alesis M1Active 520, Novation Launchpad Pro, Push2, Intel i7-7700HQ
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!Weird, I have purchased it and updated the application to the retail version using the licensing key, but the program still doesn't work in the prior preset to preserve the tunes setting up. I Imagine that has been caused by the secured cryptography the program have for the demo. I can't save the prior preset where the main function is deactivated, but it has been saved on Cubase 5 in .vstpreset. I had imagined that in main program for synthese wasn't able to recognize the Cubase 5 environment for saving it apart the main program in Hydra VSTi, where it function for preset and stay with it in the arragenment, but do not save it for "cubase" as main application, just like the demo don't do that. The program is not requiring it in the main presets, the pré made settings. It's not only a question about the frequency which will may inquiry for the retail, but about the main settings which don't get apart the main subject to the program.
Christophe, Hydra has been registered and subscribed the old demo trick! Yes, it may are conflicting in something on the Windows registering. But it's registered and working "retail". I had felled to had that compromise, because I had believed that Synapse has made something to rid off it, in the main intention. I had tried nothing else therefore the buy to compromise the installation on that. But it's there waiting possibilities, like I am to believe in. And it fall apart if it's not yours, the protection really works, my patience is more for the main intention which can respond as application and method, than in falling restarts. Hydra wasn't even responding for save in the preset list and Hydra still don't call it on Cubase 5 preset database after registering it. I have the preset saved, but it do not respond and the preset seems to not be in the same control, but Hydra recon. I'm using Windows XP
Re: Hydra Bought! Great! You can try reinstalling it.
1. Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs 2. Search for any Hydra installations you have in the list, and uninstall them all. 3. Start -> Run -> type regedit -> OK 4. Navigate to this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Synapse Audio 5. If you have a Hydra subfolder under the last Synapse Audio folder, delete it. 6. Close Registry Editor 7. Begin Hydra installation 8. Enter serial number during setup process 9. Finish installation As for the .vstpreset format, that's Cubase's new file, since they ditched the FXP/FXB formats to conform to the VST3 standard. If you need to convert it, you can try with FXTractor. SoundCloud ::: Facebook
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!Nice tip, I will try that.
Re: Hydra Bought! Great! The program is not saving the main preset list and aren't importing it on Hydra retail 1.4 from Hydra 1.2 demo version to .vstpreset converted with fxtractor whether do the job in converting and import the actual setting, but not from the older cripto Hydra 1.2 demo version which was preseted the tune in Cubase 5 .vstpreset for 3 version in VST but not reckognized as tune on converting to vst2 fxb. I got it normalized at other settings at the same issue happened meaning VST Program, tune and Interprize.
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!Good news! It works rolling back the version to retail, 1.2 is not the last appointment but works as it release.
The bass is intact! 1.4 seems still, to have something to learn.
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!A question popped up now, Re-installing Hydra 1.4 version do not reconize Hydra on the main arrangement and someway, somehow mute it, but it responds on the keyboard. Weird... I roudly it back again and it works on 1.2
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!Hey ow, no matter, my setup is save on that, I'm just apprehensive that 1.2 version sometimes falls in development and stop´the accomplishment being only able to continue restarting application.
Re: Hydra Bought! Great!Hey Doc, I'm going on a limb here, but are you using a translator? I'm having a hard time to understand what you mean by all this.
