Dune 2 serial not found in admin?

Hi, i've got Dune 2 installed for OSX 10.9.3. It consistently says "serial not found" for Ableton, Logic, & DP, and then crashes the DAW. Using the registry install does not solve it, nor any fresh installs of the program. Oddly enough, installing in a non-admin account works fine. Any clues?
I know similar things have been covered before, but I can't find a solution to this specific problem.

In the Service Area please find the "DUNE 2 Registration Tool" in the "Downloads" section. Download this tool, run as admin and provide at there your serial number.

Hi Marcin, i've run the tool both before, during and after installation, and it doesn't alleviate the issue. It still says "serial not found"

Maybe you need to repair your folder permissions (with the OSX Disk Utility). I never felt any effect of that, but it gets recommended very often in cases like these.

I don't know how the Dune registration process works, but it may be possible that it wants to write some kind of license file into a folder where it doesn't have write permissions...

Hmm, maby did you mean "admin" account as "root" account?

Hi Marcin, my main account is listed as Admin in the User groups under System Prefs. Any clues? I tried "repair permissions" and it didn't make a difference. Opening Dune in Ableton 9 or Logic X still lists "serial not found" and then crashes the DAW. The demos worked fine. It lists on the installer download page that it will automatically run the Serial register program, but that is not occuring either. Could that be something?

Im running an MBP late -2010, with OS 10.9.3.

I have the same problem. Serial not found after install und register.
No chance to work whit dune2.
Several installations has no effect. Repair Permissions done. Not work!!

Mac OSX latest (10.9.4) whit Cubase 7.5 (latest)

@uelimichel Hi, i saw you got your Dune 2 to authorize correctly after a while. Could you tell me how you did that? im still having problems 2 months after purchasing this. I've never had this issue with any other plug in authorization. It puzzles me.

I am also having issues with my account. My account states I have 0 serial numbers registered and I don't have access to the download section. I am actually using the vst as we speak and it's fully registered so I don't see why my account is inaccurate. I have emailed synapse support multiple times but do not receive an answer.

yes I did, that's how i was able to get the 2.21 update, but now it is gone and says 0 serials. Can I contact a mod or admin on this site, since support isn't getting back to me?
