Re's are more likely, given the names that keep appearing on the beta forum. I think Rich has given up on Orion. Adding fx and not fixing bugs? Not a good sign. I think he's going where the money is....

Agree with all points raised, while the GUI is OK, it doesn't do the synth any justice. People don't just purchase with their ears, they can be won over with slick visuals.

I think Synapse are missing a trick here. I'm sure spending some money on a wizard GUI designer would provide good long-term ROI. e.g. http://www.decoderdesign.com

Anyway back on DUNE 2's skin, I think there is plenty of GUI talent right here at home.....it's just a matter of giving people a chance (expose the bitmaps, create ini or config files etc). I think Rich said at KVR he may expose the graphics files which is a good start.

That's great for existing users, but I still feel the default factory GUI should have been a priority for Synapse....this is the one they advertise and the one potential new users identify with.

I think I'm using one of his Sylenth skins...not the one shown but something similar and only because it's better than Sylenth's horrid default skin.......

If user skinning is possible then the skins will come..........Limeflavour, White Tie, ArtVera, Nick Moritz etc etc.........

Eventually there will be something to suite everyone's taste........

The Serum UI has been universally applauded, whereas the Dune2 UI was the only real area to receive criticism. Clearly each to their own.

I'll admit that Serum has it's appeal (though it's less than a month old). But Sylenth? Hell no.

Quite frankly, I prefer the works of Scott Kane (s0nkite on deviantart)... just seem quite stylish and modern to me.
